The Lo Boy Floor Machine by Mercury offers you a heavy duty buffer with an ultra quiet operation. It has a powerful motor that can handle a variety of jobs, specific features that offer safe and comfortable use and the “best warranty on the planet” included with all Mercury machines.
The Lo Boy’s sturdy all metal construction comes equipped with a precision-balanced, 1.5 HP 66-frame AC motor. Its 175 RPM transmission is able to handle tough stripping, scrubbing and polishing jobs while giving you a hospital quiet operation. The gear box is located under the apron.
The 48 inch handle can be adjusted to any position, making it convenient to use for a person of any height, and locks at the bottom to hold it in place during use. The spinning pad driver helps the machine to move with little physical effort from the user. The handle needs just a slight lift to move the machine right and needs only to be lowered slightly to move it to the left. It is easily moved right to left or back and forth across the floor.
It can also be conveniently moved as necessary during any job. You will find a safety interlock switch just under the trigger. A foot bar and 2 retractable 6 inch wheels are located on the back of the machine making it simple to tilt backward and roll to any location as needed. The 50 foot safety cable plugs in at the top of the handle and is stored by wrapping it around the hook located on the side of the handle.
The Lo Boy Floor Machine has a thick non-marking bumper for protecting baseboards and walls. It comes in 5 different apron sizes: 15, 17, 19, 20 or 21 inches.
