The Schoolmaster 20 Floor Machine by Mercury is a powerful machine designed to meet school bit specs and is equipped with an ultra quiet motor. Accompanied by numerous safety features and Mercury’s “best warranty on the planet”, this machine comfortably handles many hard jobs.
The Schoolmaster 20’s sturdy all metal construction comes equipped with a precision-balanced, 1.5 HP 66-frame AC motor. Its 175 RPM transmission is able to handle all spray-buffing, scrubbing, stripping and shampooing jobs while giving you a hospital quiet operation.
The 48 inch handle can be adjusted to any position, making it convenient to use for a person of any height, and locks at the bottom to hold it in place during use. The spinning pad driver helps the machine to move with little physical effort from the user. The handle needs just a slight lift to move the machine right and needs only to be lowered slightly to move it to the left. It is easily moved right to left or back and forth across the floor.
It can also be conveniently moved as necessary during any job. You will find a safety interlock switch just under the trigger. 2 fixed 6 inch wheels are located on the back of the machine. The 50 foot safety cable plugs in at the top of the handle and is stored by wrapping it around the hook located on the side of the handle.
The Schoolmaster 20 Floor Machine has a thick non-marking bumper for protecting baseboards and walls and comes in one apron size of 20 inches.
