Description
In many situations, a restoration job will involve the need to fix the air quality. Flood damage can produce harmful mold spores, fire damage can leave disastrous smoke residue and sewer backups can pollute the air with horrible odors and air born bacteria. This evidence is not always visible and can?t even be smelled in every circumstance. The DC1700 from Dylos Corporation is a hand held air quality monitor that will let you know when you enter a building whether or not the air quality is something that needs to be corrected and just how bad it is. It gives you many features that help you to complete and document your job accurately.
This laser particle counter has 2 size ranges for detecting both small and large particles. The DC1700 is battery operated model that will hold its charge for 6 hours, the typical amount of time it is used in a day. If it does happen to die while in use, it has a wall adapter for wired use so you don?t have to stop working.
The internal memory is large enough to store all of the data you obtain and uses the real time clock to date stamp your readings. This data can later be downloaded to your PC and is recorded in a format that is easy to transfer to a spreadsheet so you have excellent documentation and an easy way to analyze it.
To make it even better, the DC1700 is equipped with EMI shielding, so equipment or lights will not disrupt the accuracy of your readings. It also updates rapidly to give you a new reading within 6 seconds of any change in particle count.
Make every job the best it can be. Know what you?re dealing with in every building so you can figure out how long restoration will take and what equipment you will need to use.
