The ZX 1001 is similar to the more basic 1000 unit with a few significant differences that make it useful for a somewhat bigger carpet cleaning job. Like it’s smaller sister it is also a heated electric unit that stands approximately hip-height. It also has 2 tanks, a 12 gallon solution tank and a recovery tank of the same size.
This machine also has a 100 PSI pump like the ZX1000 but instead of the dual stage vacuum, it has a triple 2-stage vacuum. It also has a 50 foot vacuum and solution hose and a 12 inch stainless steel wand.
